BSW Warfare

May 8, 2002
Cove Creek, Boone, NC

Conrad: Welcome everyone to a special Thursday edition of Warfare. We've had some major communications problems around here lately, the latest of them being a ring problem. But after some long hours by our staff, the ring is back up, and we're definitely ready to go, aren't we Buck?

Bucky: No doubt, Conrad. We have a wonderful show lined up this evening as we have the tag team titles on the line as well as a number one contender's match for the Intercontinental championship.

Conrad: We are very excited because as each moment passes, Outer Limits on June 2nd gets closer. It's going to be a wonderful card. But moving on, we have a wonderful opener. Cooper Tate, back to the BSW is making a return this evening in what will be a very tough match indeed. Let's go to the ring!

Lil' Half Dead vs. Cooper Tate

The fans gave a loud cheer of support for former World Champion, Cooper Tate as he made his way to the ring, and pelted Lil' Half Dead with a chorus of boos as he slowly walked down the ramp to the ring. Once in the ring, the bell sounded and the two men locked up in the middle of the ring, and struggled until Tate was able to push his opponent into the corner. The referee called for the break, and Cooper gave one to the member of the Farside. A few seconds later, Half Dead and Tate locked up again in the middle of the ring, and this time it was Half Dead that pushed Tate into a corner, and just when it seemed that Half Dead was going to give him a break, he didn't and instead drove a fury of hard puches and started to work his cornered opponent. Half Dead also used a series of hard knees that weakened his opponent evey further. Cooper came staggering out of the corner, and LHD connected with a brutal clothesline that slapped Tate in the back of the head and sent the former champion face first into the canvas! Half Dead was no where near finished with his opponent as he peeled him off the canvas and set him up for a rather impressive Samoan suplex that was landed perfectly. Half Dead then climbed to the top rope, and jumped off driving a hard knee into the rib cage of Cooper Tate, the landing of which Half Dead rolled out of perfectly into a kneeling position, ready to strike again. Cooper managed to get back to his feet, and even surprise Half Dead with a few kicks to the gut that landed their mark. Yet when the former champion tried to toss the Farside member in to the ropes, Half Dead was too strong and he reversed the toss, caught Tate coming off the ropes and planted him into the canvas with a crushing standing spinebuster! It was the beginning of the end as Half Dead ran off the ropes and landed a sweet a 450 leg drop, which fans all know as his finisher, named "Ghetto Dreaming". The move was more than enough, as Half Dead hooked a leg to get the three count and the victory. The Posse and Farside all make their way to the ring after the match. Lil' Half dead gets to his feet and quickly leaves the ring as the next match begins.

Winner: Lil' Half Dead

Bruce LeRoy vs. Steve Walker

The fans gave a mixed reaction as the referee ordered all Farside and Posse members who were not a part of the match to leave ringside and go backstage. Both sides protested but eventually left the ringside area, leaving Walker and LeRoy alone to start the match without anyone outside. LeRoy never waited for the bell as he tried to get in an early attack before the bell. After give Walker a series of hard and very loud chops, LeRoy tried to toss Walker into the ropes, the Posse member reversed the toss and nailed LeRoy off the ropes with a standing dropkick that dropped LeRoy to the mat with a loud thud. Both men were quick to get back to their feet, but it was Steve Walker who went on the attack with a barrage of hard punches that pushed his opponent into the corner. After a few brutal chops to the chest the referee was there to break them apart. A few seconds later, the two finally locked up in the middle of the ring. Walker came out with a headlock, but LeRoy showed a little strength threw his opponent into the ropes to break out of it. Walker came off the ropes and ducked LeRoy's attempted clothesline. The fans gave a cheer as Walker came off the opposite ropes with a flying forearm that again knocked LeRoy off his feet. Before Walker could do anything else, LeRoy has slipped out of the ring to regroup. Walker wouldn't have any part of that as he bounced into the ropes and flew through the top and middle ropes hitting LeRoy with a suicide dive that rammed LeRoy's body into the steel guardrail in front of the crowd. From there Walker grabbed his former partner by the hair and whipped him into the steel stairs at the corner of the ring with authority! Once the action got back into the ring, the fans seemed impressed with the moves used but were still fairly quiet throughout the match as Walker was in full control as he landed a few hard suplexes and used a few holds to tire out his opponent. Walker tried to go for a quick finish when he applied an ankle lock, and LeRoy screamed in immense pain, but fought his way to the ropes and the referee was there to break the hold. Once back on his feet, LeRoy tried to toss a few punches, surprising Walker with a second wind as he whipped the Posse member into the ropes. Yet this time Walker came flying off he ropes with a brutal spear that saw Walker drive his shoulder into LeRoys ribs and knock the wind right out of the Farside member. After that crushing move, the fans knew the end was near as Walker was making the signal for his finisher. He picked LeRoy up off the mat, heaved up him into the air, held him up there for a few seconds before slapping him into the canvas with a Razor's Edge like Crucifix Powerbomb. The fans gave a mixed reaction as Walker made the casual pinfall to get the easy three count and the win. Out of nowhere, the members of the Farside come running to the ring to get revenge on Walker on his attack when Steve smartly exits the ring. He walks to the back and the camera follows him as he picks up his bags and enters his limo. The limo speeds off out of the building.

Winner: Steve Walker

Conrad: The Farside still cannot buy a victory over the Posse.

Bucky: But they will get theirs soon enough, if you know what I mean. I'm sure of it.

Conrad: Maybe it'll be up here when Dead Cell faces Bloodlust. Let's hit the ring for action!

Non-title: Dead Cell vs. Bloodlust

As the scene cuts back to the ring, "Dead Cell" by Papa Roach blazes over the PA system, as the camera swings to the entrance way to show the song's namesake making his way down to the ring, to a mixed reception from the crowd. Dead Cell is proudly wearing his hardcore title as he slides under the bottom ring rope, awaiting his opponent. The music then switches to "Fire In The Head", and Bloodlust makes his way on to the ramp, again to a varied reception from the crowd. Bloodlust then makes his way down to the ring quickly and goes to attack Dead Cell straight from the opening bell, but he gets cut off by a stiff back elbow. Dead Cell then throws himself off the ropes, and takes down Bloodlust with a stiff clothesline. Cell then tries for an early cover, however it is broken at one, with Dead Cell not seeming surprised at this. He whips Bloodlust towards the ropes, but Bloodlust ducks another clothesline and hits a flying forearm of his own on the return. Bloodlust senses the opportunity to take control of the match, so quickly drops an elbow on Dead Cell before he can get back to his feet. Following a couple of kicks to the chest area of Dead Cell, Bloodlust runs off the ropes and hits a big leg drop, earning a near fall before Dead Cell manages to slide a shoulder out. Bloodlust drags Dead Cell back to his feet, but as he goes for an arm submission of some kind, Dead Cell nearly escapes and Bloodlust just manages to catch him for a headlock. This doesn't hold Dead Cell for long as he manages to lift Bloodlust and drop him on his neck with a belly to back suplex. Both men seem exhausted after the fast paced start to the match, and it takes an eight count by the referee before both men make it back to their feet. After a few punches by both men, Dead Cell gets the upper hand, and manages to whip Bloodlust in to the ropes and hitting him with a leg lariat on his return. Dead Cell, sensing the opportunity for a big move, heads up to the top rope and manages to land the infest frog splash, but Bloodlust shows good ring awareness to get his foot on the bottom rope before the three count could be administered. Dead Cell then starts to get right in Bloodlust's face with a flurry of punches, but Bloodlust seems to get a second wind and grabs Dead Cell by the throat. Bloodlust then gets up, and sends Dead Cell crashing to the mat with a thunderous chokeslam. Bloodlust then pulls a limp Dead Cell up from the ground, and lifts him over his shoulder for a huge powerslam. The end looks near for Dead Cell, as Bloodlust signals that it's time for him to go "Straight To Hell". Bloodlust sets up Dead Cell for the powerbomb variant but Dead Cell manages to force Bloodlust over the top with a back body drop, before turning round to hit a stunned Bloodlust with the Last Resort! Dead Cell goes down for the cover on Bloodlust and gets the three count, and the victory! After the match, Carlos, A and B, and Bruce make their way to the ring and knock Bloodlust out with a chair. They then work him over for a few seconds before hitting a devastating triple spike piledriver into the mat. The rest of the Posse comes to the ring and the Farside smiles and leaves the ring.

Conrad: This battle between the two factions is just heating up, don't you think? I'm beginning to like this a lot!

Bucky: They are all going to meet in that ring some day, and when they do, it's going to be a hellacious match.

(The camera shows the limo stopping at a truck stop a few miles from the arena. Walker gets out of the car and begins to yell at the driver, wondering why he has stopped. The driver then opens the door very hard, nailing Steve in the leg. Out of the limo comes Lil' Half Dead! He begins to pound on Walker's head with fists of fury. LHD throws Steve's face into the limo, busting it open. Steve falls to the gravel and LHD grabs a crowbar from the front seat. The Farside member gets on his knees and begins to pound his head with it, busting him open even further. Lil' Half Dead picks him up and whips him into the limo. Walker begins to lose consciousness and grimaces with pain. LHD rolls the Posse member onto the limo. He himself gets up on top of it and picks Steve up. Lil' Half Dead hits a huge gutwrench powerbomb onto the limo! The limo is dented very heavily and Walker is not moving. LHD begins to kick the hell out of the Posse member until finally getting into the limo and driving off while Steve was still on top of the vehicle. Walker is thrown to the gravel as LHD speeds off, back to the arena.

Bucky: Oh my gosh, can you believe what just happened? That was carnage, as LHD finally got some retribution. Wasn't that horrid? That was a beating of all beatings!

Conrad: It sure was. I can't believe we saw something so devastating as that. When and if Walker gets up, he's going to be mighty pissed off, don't you think? Next up is a tag team title match, which features the Golden Couple taking on Meiko Liger and Yumi Shiratori. This should be a great match! Here we go!

BSW Tag Team Titles: Barramya & Style In Action (c) vs. Mieko Liger & Yumi Shiratori

Once in the ring, both teams split up, and the partners went to their respective corners to give this tag team title match a rare clean start. Barramya and Yumi started in the ring, as the two women locked up in the middle of the ring, pushing each other around and struggling for control, until Yumi used a fireman's toss to drop Barramya to the ground which allows Yumi to slap on a quick headlock. Barramya fought to her feet and broke the hold when she tossed Barramya into the ropes, but Barramya came off the ropes with a hard shoulder that knocked Yumi to the ground. She then attempted to bounce into the ropes and drop a quick elbow but Yumi rolled out of the way and was able to make a tag. Liger came into the ring with an assault of kicks that landed their mark and allowed Liger to take control of the match for a while. Yet when she tossed Barramya into the ropes, Liger made a fatal mistake as she put her head down for a back body drop. Barramya took full advantage of it as she grabbed her opponent by the hair and snapped it back, whipping the back of Liger's head into the canvas with a thud. From there Barramya was able to make the tag, and the triple crown champion came into the ring with a fury of punches and moves that knocked Liger around. SIA even landed some impressive slams and suplexes to keep a constant control over the match. SIA seemed to have the match under control, that was until Triple S came to the ring and started pacing around the ring. When SIA went for a quick pinfall, Triple S jumped to the apron and tried to interfere by distracting the referee. SIA jumped to his feet and knocked Sullivan off the ramp. Liger took advantage of the distraction and rolled SIA up in an attempted pinfall, which was a close two count! SIA managed to kick out, and he made a tag before slaping Liger with a brutal clothesline that almost tore her head off! From there Barramya was already at the top rope and she leaped off and landed her finishing movie, the Bitch Slap. SIA knocked Yumi out of the ring, which allowed Barramya to get the three count and retain their tag titles.

Winners: Barramya and Style in Action

Bucky: The Golden Couple somehow escapes with the tag team titles in a very close match indeed.

Conrad: As you see, it's time to award SIA his title, let's go to the ring and watch!

Ken: Mr. Manns, that was a great victory in the ring, but now we are here to celebrate something else. Frankie, it's with great joy that I give you the new Triple Crown title! We've given it a new look, and it really should suit you well. From the BSW, here it is, the TC title!

Frankie: Thank you Ken. Now, a lot of wrestlers would be grateful to have been given the opportunity to win the Triple Crown. I'm not going to be like that, because every single thing I've got so far in BSW I've had to take myself. The front office, the other wrestlers, the fans - none of you have ever given me jack shit, and that's why I'm going to show you absolutely no respect in taking this title. I've held my head high when everyone's been putting me down, but now you can all take a good look at yourselves and realize that every single one of you was wrong. I'm going to take this title with me, and just bask in the glory of being the best wrestler in the world today. You should feel privileged that I've even bothered to show up here tonight…

Crowd: Baby!

Sarah: Shut up! Don't you have any respect for your champion!

Crowd: Baby!

Frankie: As your champion, I demand you to shut the hell up! None of you would have had the heart to go through what I did to win the tournament, so you should respect me for the living, walking and talking greatness I have.

Crowd: Baby!

Frankie: Screw this! I don't have to take this from peasants like you! I'm off back to my nice comfortable dressing room, where I don't have to put up with the likes of you ignorant bastards.

(SIA leaves the ring and is almost to the back when Mike Anderson comes charging out and begins to beat up on Manns. He rams his face into the guardrail a few times before delivering a nasty powerbomb to the floor. Barramya grabs a chair and hits Mike in the back with it. This prompts Shane Sullivan to come out. He and Anderson stand side by side and grab Sarah, hitting her with a huge double suplex onto the concrete floor! The two hug and leave the ringside area, the crowd shocked!)

Conrad: That was a reunion of all sorts there. Mike and Shane are back together…

Assault and Battery vs. Extortionist vs. Tommy Rudo

Extortionist's music cuts Jones off as he makes his way to the ring first to a mixed reaction. Some are all for him and some seem to be against the masked man. Out of nowhere, Assault and Battery runs to the ring and takes Extortionist out from behind. A and B begins to pound away on him with smashing clubs to the back of the neck. Tommy Rudo then runs down the aisle to get in the action a bit. He just rams into Assault, knocking him to the floor. Rudo picks Extortionist up and chokes him on the guard rail until A and B recovers. Once he stands, Tommy gives him a kick to the throat, knocking him back to the floor. Rudo picks Extortionist up again and rolls him into the ring. The bell rings, signaling the beginning of the match. Tommy whips Extortionist into the ropes and goes for a clothesline. He misses the move and his opponent comes back at him with a flying clothesline. Battery gets to his feet and rolls into the ring. Extortionist turns around and is hit in a snap suplex. A and B quickly exits the ring and grabs a steel chair and re-enters with it. He gets ready to hit his rival, Extortionist when Tommy grabs it. A and B pushes him to the mat with the chair and turns around, ending up getting nailed with a spinning heel kick that knocks the chair into A and B's face! At this point, Mike and Matt Anderson start to walk to the ring, apparently to watch to see who will become the contender for the title. Extortionist grabs the chair and slams it into the head of Rudo, knocking him out. This is the cue for the Anderson's to hit the ring. They double team Extortionist and beat him to the mat. Assault and Battery makes it to his feet and is kicked in the gut and hit with a double powerbomb. The referee tries to stop the onslaught, but he is thrown over the top to the floor. At this point, SIA and Barramya make their way to the ring after what had happened earlier in the evening. They attack the Andersons' from behind and knock them to the mat, stomping away at them with boots to the back of the head. Meiko and Yumi, their opponents from earlier, just walk out to the ring, but do not get involved. As the are walking to the ring, Bruce LeRoy and LHD come running to the ring past them, and attack the Golden Couple and help their partner. This brings Bloodlust, Psycho Sam, and Daniel Demolition to the ring to beat up their Farside nemesis. The rest of the Farside comes to the ring after them and the ring becomes a mess of people. Johnny Fantastic, Dead Cell, Felicia, Jennifer, and a few unknown jobbers make their way to the ring, just to attempt to break the fracas up. Everyone in the ring has little room to move as they are trying to beat each other up. After a few minutes of this fighting, officials, referees, and other personnel enter the ring to try to stop this. It's turned into an all out brawl at this point, with no end in sight. Punches and kicks are being thrown, but there is not much room for anything else. All of a sudden, the ring buckles underneath the huge amount of weight that was in it. Because of the mass of people in the ring, everyone just falls towards the center of the ring, the place of the buckle, in a heap. The crowd gets up on their feet, knowing that this is not a part of the show. At the time of the ring buckling, there were upwards of fifty people in the ring, and now they are a twisted pile of limbs in the center of the cracked ring. The audience is silent as screams can be heard from the pile. The men and women on top, mostly officials, seem to have a difficult time getting off of the huge pile because of the magnitude of the buckling of the ring. At this point, Conrad, Bucky, Yumi, Meiko, Sullivan, Krash, Smokey, and the Peils all hit the ring, trying to figure out what to do. The ring is in such a precarious position that not much really can be done except try to enter and hope that they are not injured trying to get to the bottom. The slowly enter and start to slowly move the people from the pile. When they do that, paramedics quickly rush to the ring, telling the helpers not to move them, fearing injuries that could be made worse from movement. The two paramedics then cautiously get inside the ring and try to survey the damage. They quickly remove a few officials and referees from the top, all of whom are a little shocked with the air knocked out of them. Another load of six paramedics come to the ring, and so thereafter an ambulance is backed into the building, coming to the ring. The fans stand on the floor in awe of what is occurring. They cannot believe that this is happening. For the most part, after 15 minutes, the officials are off the pile. A few of them are holding a limb, but otherwise, all seems to be going well. But what they see as they dig deeper gets to be gruesome. Matt Anderson has noticably re-broken his arm, the bone almost sticking out to a point in which you can see it. Style in Action has a very bloody head and seems to be holding his ribs, yelling in pain. Sarah is next to him, unconscious and not moving. Bloodlust is lying in the pile, just like Barraclough, not moving. One-by-one, the medical staff on hand assess the damages and get the wrestlers out of the ring as soon as they can. Many of the injuries look to be very serious. Bruce LeRoy's ankle is bent the wrong way. Extortionist is heard saying that he can't move his arms. Tommy Rudo, another man in the middle of it, is carted off, not conscious of what is happening. The wrestlers and staff who were not in the ring at the time of the accident are now all there, watching the humanity of it all, trying to hold back the tears. Some of them are shaking their heads while others have their heads in their hands. The paramedics feverishly get to the bottom of the pile, where the Farside and Posse members are. They have received the brunt of the damage since they were in the center. Daniel Demolition's leg is seemingly broken while Lil' Half Dead is holding his back and neck, dried blood caking his face and blood still gushing. The scene is almost surreal as the final few people are removed from the ring. After 75 minutes of trying to clear the ring, it finally is and the crowd begins to leave. Bucky and Conrad walk back to the announce booth, put on their headsets and give an announcement.

Conrad: Damn. I've never seen anything like this in the world of professional wrestling. This is tragic, this is horrible.

Bucky: What can we say that hasn't been conveyed on the screen? What has just happened is the worst thing I've ever seen in my history in wrestling. Men in there were twisted in ways that their bodies aren't supposed to go. It makes me sick thinking about it.

Conrad: Men were in there with no idea of what was going on. Blood was all over the place. There were bones sticking out. Gruesome.

Bucky: I really don't know where the BSW goes from here. First and foremost, of course is making sure that all the men are all right. A few of them looked a little scary from where I was standing, but other than that, it's going to be a lot of healing time.

Conrad: Our whole roster, in one night, was just injured just about. A few people stayed in the back, and then came out, offering a hand and help to the paramedics. We have to commend them for being here promptly and on time. This was something no one could have expected.

Bucky: I'm speechless. I really don't know when we will see you guys next. Will the show go on? I really don't know, and right now, I don't care. Someone needs to make sure that these competitors are doing all right. Hopefully, this is not a final goodbye, but for Conrad Jones, I'm Bucky Thompson. Please, everyone keep these men and women in your prayers. Good night.
